Media Wants Access To R. Kelly

R. Kelly's attorneys are doing their best to stall the media from getting their hands on the pre-trial transcripts, from his pornography case. The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, & The Associated Press want the transcripts & are also asking for the gag order, on attorneys, be lifted. A hearing dealing with the matter is set for May 8, a day before jury selection begins.

Mariah Lipsyncs?

Mariah Carey performed on Good Morning America today. From the beginning, the performance was a mess. It was bad...really bad. Then, around the 3 minute mark, she tells her back up singers to stop singing her part! You can clearly tell there is a backing track, but you can also tell that Mimi doesn't need it. Stop being lazy Mimi, put the backing track away & just sing the song girl...you're one of the few that can actually do it.

Rihanna Collaborates With Maroon 5

MTV visited the set of the video "If I Never See Your Face Again," which is a collaboration between Rihanna & Maroon 5. The song is a remake of the Maroon 5 hit, from their latest album "It Won't Be Soon Before Long." "If I Never See Your Face Again" will be featured on the Good Girl Gone Bad re-release, due to hit stores, June 17. Rihanna told MTV, "This is the only collaboration on my re-release, because I always wanted to work with Maroon 5. They're one of my favorite bands. When they called me to do this record with them, I was honored."

Mariah Blacklisted!

After a series of NO NO's, Mariah Carey has been unofficially blacklisted by the paparazzi. The paparazzi claim the diva was...well, being a diva. She showed up 2 hours late, for a cd signing, & wore sunglasses while on the red carpet, among other things. They have sworn off taking Mimi's pic until they damn well please.

Alicia Keys Has "Vocal Illness"

J Records announced Alicia Keys had to cancel a 2nd concert, in Cleveland, due to a continued bout with swollen vocal chords. She'd previously cancelled a concert in Pittsburgh. Ms. Keys is under a physician's care, & is expected to return back to the stage this weekend, for her concert in Ohio.
